We are the Beta Sigma Upsilon (BSU) chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the only national criminal justice honor society in the United States. We are also a recognized student organization at Ball State University, and we work closely with the BSU Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology and the BSU student body to assist in educating others about criminal justice topics and to serve our Ball State, Muncie, and home communities.

We are always excited to welcome new members! Check out the membership qualifications below, as well as our Chapter Constitution/Bylaws.

Qualifications:
– Must be a student at Ball State University
– Must have a declared major or minor in Criminal Justice or a related field
– Must have completed at least three full-time semesters
– Must have taken at least four Criminal Justice courses
– Undergraduates must have a minimum 3.2 overall GPA and minimum 3.2 GPA (3.4 for graduate students) for Criminal Justice classes
– Must be committed to chapter meetings and activities
– A one-time membership fee of $70 is due when applying for membership

Interested students should contact our president or advisor (see contact information below) and attend one of our meetings to find out what we’re all about! When you are ready to join, you can fill out the official headquarters application and email it to our advisor, Dr. Wendy Koslicki (wkoslicki@bsu.edu), who will complete the rest and send it to APS HQ when you deliver your application fee of $70 (cashier’s check or money order).
